A lot of software is developed at the Protein Structure Facotry, mainly client programs for the central Oracle project database. Clients are programmed in Perl and Java. In addition, Microsoft Access is used to build database clients for management of laboratory data.

A java program, ORFer, for retrieval and management of open reading frame seqences is publically available.

The PSF Clone Manager Laboratory Information System (LIMS) is available for download.

seqjoin is used to predict the complete cDNA insert sequence of partially sequenced cDNA clones.
